HOW WE WORK
|
Some of you think we just sit around all day firing off information to self employed people on how to better understand their levy invoices they get each year... Hate to say it, but you're right.
We’re an online information website that helps self-employed people answer the main questions about Levies; how can I check if I'm paying the right amount in ACC Levies and secondly how can I dial back my levies and then what is Cover Plus Extra all about? We have a flash list of self employed people. In simple terms we may call you and ask to send this information to you. Once you've received this information and If you want help we then connect you with a registered RFA (Registered Financial Adviser). That's it! Nothing twisted. Nothing hard. And the best part - it's free! |
Everything on our site is super simple. There's only two key things you need to know about ACC and our job is to let you know (with your permission) what they are and what you can do. It's a sad fact that only 10% of the self employed market in New Zealand fully understand what they can claim for on ACC and what they are entitled too. Most self employed people have no idea what's available or how ACC even works. ACC has so many great attributes and does so much for New Zealand, that we think its worth promoting.

Q: DOES ACC PAY YOU IF YOU DIE VIA AN ACCIDENT?
A: It sure does! Any spouse of a New Zealander that dies through an accident, whether at work or not, is entitled to compensation for the next five years. PLUS any children you have receive compensation until they reach the age of 18 (or 21 if they take on tertiary education.) Read more in our What ACC Pays You For Free blog post. |
HOW DO YOU EARN YOUR MONEY?
|
Damn good question! We're paid via a select group of RFA's who are Registered Financial Advisors...a real fancy name for those that know their stuff when it comes to risk advice. The Levy Advice Bureau does not give financial advice and we are not ACC. We are a marketing company fully funded by RFA's that hire us to market them.
