We are funded by a pretty cool bunch of financial advisers that enable us to provide free information and help to you online. You can call us during business hours or email us and we will respond within 24 hrs to any questions you may have. And by the way, we don’t work with any ACC claims eg: broken legs, arms etc (see our FAQ page for details). We operate right throughout New Zealand and if you live in some remote place we will use SKYPE or use our flash new system called SuiteBox.

Initial Contact

Due to pure volumes we don't promote our services as we would have to share our time with over 400,000 self employed kiwis. If we've contacted you, it's because we think that we can help you, we would have sent you some information that will highlight two key areas you need to know about your levies. We will never send you any information without your permission, as we do not want to waste your time or ours. We respect your privacy (you can read our policy here)

In the period since 2012, we have reviewed the ACC payments of some 1090 clients and discovered that 52 per cent of them have some sort of error requiring attention, including the wrong level of cover being selected. In addition, 30 per cent were found to be paying too much,” Rosandich explains.

1. You may be sitting on refund

Picture
If you are using the wrong code, and by our accounts 1 in 5 Kiwi's are, then you can claim back up to four years of over paid ACC levies. Not bah aye! And the best thing is we do this for free.
NO FEE's. If your CU code is wrong we will arrange ACC to pay you what you're owed directly into your bank account. Yes, your refund won't pass through our hands as we don't take that hard earned money. It's yours and you should keep it. You can find out more about CU codes here.

2. LOOK AT MOVING TO CPX and lower your levies

Picture
ACC has a default position called CP (Cover Plus)  and they can't give advice on their own products as they're not RFA's or AFA's. Sounds crazy but it's true! ACC have three products in what they can offer as 'self elected' products. What they don't widely promote is the Cover Plus Extra (CPX) option, which allows you to lower your actual cover with them. This option drops your levies, and gives you the option to either pocket the cash or use it to buy risk insurance in the private sector (which can pay for events like illness that ACC won't cover). We know that 85% of long term events that preclude people from working are from an illness not an accident and yet around 90% of self employed workers don't know how to diversify their risk - sounds crazy but it's true! Find out more in our FAQ section.

Anyway, enough of the boring stuff. If you do want to start this process then click here and we will send you the information to get you started on checking YOUR CU CODE. There's a 1 in 5 chance it will pay you and its free. So why not see if you're right!
